Job Title: Sales Officer Cattle Feed Industry
Department: Sales Marketing
Experience-13 years of experience in sales, preferably in
cattle feed, dairy, livestock, or the agriculture industry .
Qualification: Bachelors degree in Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Business Administration, or any other field.
Reports To: Area Sales Manager
Compensation- As per Industry norms + TA or DA.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and sell cattle feed products to farmers, dealers, and distributors.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets within the assigned territory.
- Identify new market opportunities and develop new customers
- Build and maintain strong relationships with dairy farmers, retailers, and distributors.
- Provide product information and feeding guidance to customers.
- Resolve customer complaints and ensure high customer satisfaction
- Appoint new dealers/distributors where required.
- Support dealers with product knowledge and sales strategies.
- Monitor dealer performance and ensure adequate stock availability.
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and product trends.
- Collect market feedback and report it to management.
- Identify customer needs and suggest improvements in products or services
- Conduct regular farm visits and dealer visits.
- Organise farmer meetings, demonstrations, and promotional campaigns.
- Support marketing activities such as exhibitions and awareness programs.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
- Maintain records of customer visits, orders, and payments.
- Update management on market developments and sales performance.
