Role Description Primary Responsibilities
Key Account Manager
- Manage and strengthen business with appointed Super Stockist(s) in the Goa region
- Appoint, onboard, and manage Distributors under assigned territory
- Expand General Trade (GT) coverage by adding new retail outlets and increasing depth of distribution
- Develop and grow Modern Trade (MT) business, including regional chains and key accounts
- Expand HoReCa channels (Hotels, Restaurants, Cafes) and build long-term institutional relationships
- Drive business growth in volume and value by achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Plan and execute promotional activities, in-store visibility, sampling, and schemes in the market
- Ensure effective stock management at Super Stockist and Distributor level to avoid stock-outs or overstocking
- Coordinate and submit claims, schemes, and promotional expense documents as per company process
- Handle payment follow-ups and ensure timely collections from Distributors and key accounts
- Maintain accurate sales reports, market feedback, and competitor activity updates
- Build, train, and manage a sales team/field staff as the business scales in the territory
- Work closely with internal teams for smooth supply chain and operational coordination
Market & Skill Requirements
- Strong knowledge of the Goa market, including GT, MT, and HoReCa dynamics
- Good understanding of distributor management, retail operations, and local trade practices
- Ability to develop new markets and nurture existing relationships
