Business Unit - OTC Trade

Designation - Sales Offcer

HQ - Mumbai

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for OTC products in the assigned territory.
  • Ensure product availability and visibility at chemists, general trade stores, and modern trade outlets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and stockists.
  • Conduct regular market visits and outlet coverage as per route plans.
  • Monitor secondary sales and ensure proper stock movement.
  • Implement trade schemes, promotional activities, and merchandising initiatives.
  • Generate demand for OTC products through retailer engagement and consumer awareness activities.
  • Track competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
  • Ensure timely order collection and coordination with distributors for deliveries.
  • Maintain reports related to sales, market feedback, stock status, and daily activity.
  • Support new product launches and increase market penetration in the assigned area.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and reporting systems.

Skills Required

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of FMCG/OTC sales and distribution channels.
  • Relationship management with retailers and distributors.
  • Territory management and market planning.
  • Basic analytical and reporting skills.
  • Ability to work in field sales and achieve targets.

Preferred Background

  • Experience in OTC, FMCG, healthcare, personal care, beauty, or pharmaceutical sales.
  • Familiarity with chemist and general trade markets.
  • Experience in handling distributor networks and retail expansion.
