Job Title: Sales Manager (5 to 8 years of proven sales experience in handling industrial customers)
Work Location: West/ South India ( ANY PART OF WEST OR SOUTH INDIA)
Job Summary: As a Sales Manager at NDL Power Limited, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, identifying business opportunities, and building strong client relationships. Your role will involve generating leads, executing sales strategies, and ensuring timely collections while staying updated on industry trends. This position requires frequent travel (20-25 days per month) to engage with potential and existing industrial clients.
Identify potential customers in the cement, steel, metal, automobile, oil & gas, power generation, transmission, and distribution (heavy engineering) sectors.
Generate and follow up on leads to convert prospects into clients.
Develop compelling sales pitches and conduct product demonstrations.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional service.
Engage with key departments such as Electrical, Utilities, Maintenance, and Mechanical to promote company offerings.
Implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed targets.
Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and industry conditions.
Work collaboratively with internal teams to coordinate sales efforts.
Ensure timely collection of payments from customers within the agreed period.
Address overdue issues proactively to maintain positive cash flow. Maintain accurate records of sales activities and submit regular sales reports.
Utilize Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and presentations.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferred) or a relevant field.
Experience: 5 to 8 years of proven sales experience in handling industrial customers.
Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is a plus.
Travel: Willingness to travel 20-25 days per month. Compensation & Benefits:
