Additional territory to cover -Vijayapura, Bidar, and nearby areas;
Role Overview:
We are seeking a result-oriented Sales Officer to drive primary and secondary sales through strong distributor management and market execution. This is a field-intensive role requiring consistent on-ground presence and effective team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and strengthen distributor relationships to drive business growth
- Oversee primary and secondary sales for the assigned territory
- Drive penetration in wholesale and retail markets
- Execute Go-to-Market (GTM) strategies to enhance coverage and visibility
- Spend 5–6 hours in the market daily, 5 days a week, ensuring execution excellence
- Monitor stock levels, billing efficiency, and distributor performance
- Identify and develop new business opportunities and channels
- Ensure effective implementation of merchandising and promotional activities
- Track competitor activities and provide market insights
Team Management:
- Lead and manage a team of field sales executives
- Drive team performance to achieve sales targets
- Conduct regular market visits and performance reviews
Candidate Requirements:
- 5–7 years of experience in FMCG, Beverages, or CPG industry
- 3–4 years of experience in team handling roles
- Prior experience in managing the assigned territory or similar markets is essential
- Strong understanding of distributor handling and wholesale market dynamics
- Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets
- Willingness to work in a field-driven, market-facing role
