Role Overview
We are looking for a Sales Officer (SO) with strong experience in General Trade (GT) within the Personal Care / FMCG / Pharmaceutical segment. The candidate will be responsible for driving sales, managing distributors, and ensuring strong market execution in the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle and manage distributor operations effectively
- Drive primary and secondary sales in the assigned territory
- Ensure product availability and visibility across retail outlets
- Expand market coverage and onboard new retailers
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends
- Maintain strong relationships with distributors and retailers
- Ensure timely stock replenishment and liquidation
Key Requirements
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in General Trade (GT)
- Experience in Personal Care / FMCG / Pharma industry preferred
- Strong distributor handling experience
- Good knowledge of the local market and territory
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
Location: As per business requirement
Reporting To: Area Sales Manager (ASM)
