We are seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Officer for Pesticides to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth in the agricultural sector by promoting our range of pesticide products to farmers and distributors.
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new sales opportunities for pesticide products in the assigned territory.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers including farmers, agricultural retailers, and distributors.
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to educate customers on the benefits of pesticides and proper application techniques.
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the company.
- Provide market feedback and insights to the management regarding competitors, market trends, and customer preferences.
- Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and other documentation as required.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, or a related field.
- 2-10 years of experience in sales, preferably in the agricultural or pesticide industry.
- Strong knowledge of pest management, crop protection, and pesticide regulations in India.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
