Position: Associate Merchandiser / B2B Sales Executive / Business Development Executive

Tagliér is looking for someone sharp, persuasive, articulate, and genuinely excited by the world of luxury home décor. Someone who understands that selling is not about pushing products, it's about understanding brands, spotting opportunities, building trust, and creating relationships that last.

You should know how to speak to buyers, merchandisers, sourcing heads, and home décor brands with confidence and intelligence. You know when to call, what to say, how to follow up, and most importantly, how to make someone want to work with you.

At Tagliér, you will represent a premium design-led home décor & furniture export house working with global buyers across the USA, UK, UAE, and beyond. You will be responsible for managing client relationships, overseeing production, and coordinating with production team to meet quality and delivery expectations. Day-to-day tasks include facilitating sales and marketing initiatives, ensuring timely order completion, and providing excellent customer service. The role requires proactive communication with stakeholders to align on project goals and timelines.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Reach out to home décor brands, merchandisers, buying agents, sourcing heads, retailers, and distributors through calls, emails, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, and meetings.
  • Research and identify the right prospects and decision-makers.
  • Convert cold leads into qualified meetings and business opportunities.
  • Build long-term customer relationships and maintain regular communication with clients.
  • Understand client requirements and suggest the right collections, materials, pricing, and product ideas.
  • Create quick catalogs, quotations, presentations, and follow-up documents.
  • Manage and organize leads, CRM sheets, buyer lists, and sales pipelines.
  • Travel for meetings, exhibitions, field visits, buyer appointments, and networking opportunities.
  • Work closely with the design and production team to ensure smooth communication with clients.
  • Analyse what is working, what is not, and how to improve conversion rates and lead quality.
  • Occasionally appear in reels, videos, and founder content sharing insights, client stories, market trends, and sales experiences with confidence on camera.

We're Looking For Someone Who

  • Has excellent spoken and written English.
  • Is naturally persuasive, confident, and great at building rapport.
  • Has experience in sales, business development, client servicing, sourcing, or merchandising—preferably in home décor, furniture, lifestyle, exports, or luxury products.
  • Understands how the home décor industry works and can intelligently speak to buyers and brands.
  • Is highly organized and can manage multiple leads and conversations at once.
  • Knows how to research, identify prospects, and keep a sales pipeline moving.
  • Can think strategically and use analytics to improve sales and customer relationships.
  • Is comfortable being on calls, in meetings, and on camera.
  • Has a strong drive to close deals, build trust, and grow with the company.

Qualifications

  • Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to manage client relationships effectively and ensure satisfaction
  • Experience in Sales and Retail to support business growth and market understanding
  • Marketing knowledge to assist with promotional strategies and drive brand visibility
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multi-tasking requirements
  • Previous experience in sourcing or quality control is advantageous
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
  • Understanding of local and global market trends is a plus

Bonus Points If You

  • Have experience in a buying agency / buying house working directly with international or export clients.
  • Have attended trade fairs or buyer meetings.
  • Have a network of buyers (retail brands, importers, wholesalers, luxury hospitality, real estate, interior designers, architects) and want a strong factory partner to deliver high-quality, multi-material products.
  • Are comfortable with Canva, PowerPoint, Excel, or CRM tools.
  • Have a strong eye for design and understand product aesthetics.
