ABOUT THE ROLE
Critical role in driving business growth by managing backend sales operations, preparing project offers, and leading a support team to ensure smooth execution of sales activities. This role bridges coordination between the front-end sales team, marketing, project, and technical departments to convert leads into successful project proposals.
Expertise of Designing in Word and Excel includes Calculation and reverse engineering, Thermal calculation, Single line diagram (SLD), TQ, CQ, Project Based requisition and Standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee backend sales operations, including lead management, documentation, and proposal preparation.
- Prepare, review, and finalize project offers, quotations, and commercial proposals in alignment with client requirements and company standards.
- Coordinate with sales, marketing, technical, and project teams to ensure accurate scope, pricing, and timelines in offers.
- Lead and mentor the backend sales team, ensuring timely follow-ups, data accuracy, and process compliance.
- Support marketing initiatives by analysing leads, campaign performance, and conversion data.
- Maintain CRM systems, sales reports, and dashboards to track pipeline performance and forecast revenue.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual terms, and quality standards.
- Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce turnaround time, and improve win ratios.
WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING
- Minimum 5 years of corporate experience in sales or marketing
- Technical background (Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation or related fields)
- Exposure to industrial equipment or process industry sales preferred
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Proactive, self-motivated, and target-driven approach
