Job Title: Sales & Marketing Manager Control Valves

Job Summary
Responsible for driving sales growth, managing key customer accounts, developing marketing strategies, and expanding market presence for control valve products. This role requires strong technical understanding of control valves and excellent customer relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Achieve sales targets for control valves and related flow control products.
- Identify new business opportunities across Oil & Gas, Power, Chemicals, Fertilizers, Pharma, Water Treatment, and EPCs.
- Manage complete sales cycle: inquiry generation, technical discussions, quoting, negotiation, and order closure.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, consultants, EPC contractors, and end-users.
- Conduct regular customer visits, presentations, and product demonstrations.
Marketing & Strategy
- Plan and execute marketing activitiesexhibitions, digital marketing, product campaigns, and customer seminars.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies.
- Prepare annual sales forecasts, market penetration strategies, and region-wise sales plans.
- Support product positioning and branding in the target industries.
Technical & Commercial
- Provide technical support to customersvalve selection, sizing, application analysis.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Projects, and Production teams for technical clarifications.
- Review tenders, prepare techno-commercial offers, and ensure compliance with specifications.
- Maintain updated product knowledge for control valves, actuators, accessories, and instrumentation.
Team Management
- Lead and mentor the sales team and channel partners.
- Monitor performance, set targets, and provide necessary training/support.
- Ensure CRM updates and proper sales documentation.
Key Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of control valves, actuators, positioners, and instrumentation.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to understand P&IDs, datasheets, and process control requirements.
- Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving capability.
- Proficiency in report writing, forecasting, and CRM tools.
Educational Qualification
- BE / B.Tech in Mechanical / Instrumentation Engineering
- MBA (Marketing) preferred but not mandatory.
