Experience: 10 years (minimum 5 years in a leadership role in the fire door/building materials industry)
Qualification: B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical/Civil + MBA in Sales/Marketing preferred
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Sales & Marketing Manager to lead and expand our Pan India sales operations for fire-rated doors and hardware products. The role demands strong leadership, deep industry knowledge, and the ability to drive growth through a robust B2B network, channel partners, government & private contractors, architects, consultants and key decision makers.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and implement national sales strategies aligned with company targets.
- Drive revenue growth and market share expansion across India.
- Set and monitor monthly/quarterly/annual sales targets by region and team.
Team Management
- Lead, train, and manage a nationwide sales team, including regional sales managers and executives.
- Ensure performance tracking, motivation, and continuous improvement of the sales force.
Client & Channel Development
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including architects, contractors, project consultants, builders, and channel partners.
- Develop project-based and channel-based sales simultaneously.
Brand Promotion & B2B Engagement
- Represent the company at B2B expos, trade fairs, and industry conferences.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to drive regular brand promotions, product presentations, and campaigns.
Market Intelligence & Surveys
- Conduct regular market surveys to track competitor activities, pricing trends, and new project leads.
- Identify emerging markets and potential for product diversification.
Reporting & Forecasting
- Provide accurate sales forecasts, sales pipeline reports, and market analysis to senior management.
- Track ROI on all lead generation and sales conversion efforts.
Key Requirements:
- Proven track record in sales leadership in fire-rated doors, building hardware, or construction material sectors.
- Strong Pan India network with architects, consultants, specifiers, Purchase heads, PMC, EPC contractors, and builders.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and business development skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively across regions.
- Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Deep understanding of project sales, specification selling, and government/private tenders.
- Familiarity with CRM tools, ERP systems, and sales data analytics.
- Experience in launching new products or entering new markets.
