Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Sales & Marketing Manager with proven B2B sales expertise to drive business development and lead generation for our prefabricated building solutions. This role requires a self-motivated professional who can work independently, leverage industry contacts, and build relationships with key decision-makers across construction, infrastructure, manufacturing, and real estate sectors.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets for prefabricated and modular construction solutions
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with industrial clients, EPC contractors, real estate developers, government bodies, and corporate enterprises
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through proactive prospecting and relationship management
  • Conduct site visits, client presentations, and product demonstrations to showcase Modutech's capabilities
  • Prepare quotations, technical proposals, and negotiate pricing, contract terms, and delivery schedules

Lead Generation & Marketing

  • Generate qualified B2B leads through industry networking, cold calling, warm outreach, and referrals
  • Leverage existing industry contacts to create opportunities for project offices, accommodation blocks, prefab infrastructure, and modular buildings
  • Develop Marketing campaigns
  • Maintain CRM records with updated pipeline data, client interactions, and sales forecasts

Client Relationship Management

  • Manage relationships with key accounts including manufacturing companies, logistics providers, construction firms, and infrastructure developers
  • Understand client requirements for temporary and permanent modular infrastructure solutions
  • Coordinate with engineering, design, and operations teams to ensure seamless project delivery from sales handover to completion
  • Provide post-sales support and identify opportunities for repeat business and referrals

Market Intelligence & Reporting

  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in prefabricated construction
  • Track infrastructure projects, factory expansions, warehouse developments, and construction activities across assigned territories
  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports, forecasts, and performance analytics
Required Qualifications & Experience

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil/Mechanical preferred), Business Management, or related field
  • Minimum 5-7 years of B2B sales experience in construction, prefabricated buildings, modular construction, steel structures, or related industries
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and generating new business in B2B environments
  • Strong network of industry contacts including contractors, project managers, procurement teams, and decision-makers
  • Experience selling to industrial clients, manufacturing companies, infrastructure developers, or corporate enterprises

Skills & Competencies

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and take ownership of sales territory
  • Strong lead generation skills through networking, referrals, and proactive outreach
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities
  • Understanding of construction project cycles, tendering processes, and technical specifications
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and sales reporting
  • Willingness to travel extensively across India for client meetings and site visits

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of prefabricated construction, LGSF technology, modular buildings, or portable structures
  • Experience with project offices, site accommodation, industrial infrastructure, or temporary buildings
  • Existing relationships with EPC contractors, industrial clients, real estate developers, or facility management companies
  • Understanding of building codes, municipal regulations, and construction standards
