Job Purpose
We are seeking a dynamic, result-oriented Marketing and Sales professional with a proven track record in the non-ferrous metals industry, specifically focusing on Aluminium Wire Rods (EC Grade / CG Grade). The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, expanding our market footprint, securing high-value contracts from downstream manufacturers (like cable, conductor, and transformer industries), and managing key client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development & Market Expansion: Identify and tap into new market segments, domestic or international, to generate demand for our aluminium wire rod products.
- B2B Client Acquisition: Target and secure corporate clients, specifically manufacturers of power cables, overhead conductors, transformers, and automotive wiring components.
- Relationship Management: Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business, handling contract renewals and volume commitments.
- Tender & Bid Management: Actively track, analyze, and participate in institutional, government (e.g., State Electricity Boards, power grid corporations), and private sector tenders.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, competitor pricing, LME/MCE aluminium price fluctuations, and regulatory changes to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Revenue & Volume Targets: Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales volume (MT) and revenue targets set by the management.
- Cross-functional Coordination: Work closely with the production, logistics, and quality assurance teams to ensure timely delivery and compliance with client specifications.
Technical & Professional Requirements
- Industry Experience: 3 to 7 years of core B2B sales/marketing experience in the aluminium industry (experience specifically with wire rods, conductors, or cables is highly preferred).
- Product Knowledge: Understanding of Aluminium Wire Rod specifications
- Financial Acumen: Understanding of LME (London Metal Exchange) pricing mechanisms, premium structures, and basic credit/payment term management.
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Metallurgy, Mechanical, or Electrical) and/or an MBA in Marketing/International Business.
