As we expand into palliative care services, we are looking for a relationship-driven Sales Executive who can build strong referral networks with doctors, hospitals, and healthcare partners.
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Sales Executive with a medical representative or healthcare sales background who can build, manage, and grow doctor and hospital referral channels for our assisted living and palliative care services.
This is a field-oriented role, requiring regular visits to doctors, clinics, hospitals, and healthcare institutions to position Sanagruham as a trusted care partner for senior and palliative patients.
Key ResponsibilitiesDoctor & Healthcare Partner Engagement
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with:
- General physicians
- Geriatricians
- Palliative care specialists
- Hospital discharge coordinators
- Clinics, nursing homes, and rehabilitation centers
- Conduct regular field visits to hospitals and clinics to explain Sanagruham's care offerings.
- Position Sanagruham as a preferred referral option for:
- Assisted living
- Short-term stays
- Post-hospitalization care
- Palliative and end-of-life support
Lead Generation & Conversions
- Generate qualified leads through medical and institutional referrals.
- Coordinate with families to explain services, pricing, and care models.
- Support families through the enquiry-to-admission journey in collaboration with operations and care teams.
- Track leads, follow-ups, and conversions systematically.
Palliative Care Outreach
- Promote Sanagruham's upcoming palliative care services to doctors and hospitals.
- Educate healthcare partners on:
- Home-like palliative care environment
- Continuity of care post discharge
- Family-centric and comfort-focused approach
- Support onboarding of palliative referrals once services go live.
Branding & Awareness
- Distribute and explain Sanagruham marketing materials (brochures, standees, presentations).
- Represent Sanagruham at healthcare events, doctor meets, and hospital outreach programs.
- Gather market intelligence on competitor offerings and referral practices.
Reporting & Coordination
- Maintain visit plans, daily call reports, and lead pipelines.
- Provide feedback from doctors, families, and partners to management.
- Work closely with the founder, care team, and marketing team to refine messaging.
Required Qualifications & ExperienceExperience
- 25 years of experience in:
- Medical representative roles
- Healthcare / hospital sales
- Pharma, diagnostics, or medical devices sales
- Prior experience interacting with doctors and hospitals is mandatory.
- Experience in elder care, home healthcare, palliative care, or hospital services is a strong plus.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable discussing sensitive topics such as elder care and palliative support with empathy.
- Good communication skills in English and Tamil.
- Ability to explain services clearly to both doctors and families.
- Self-motivated, field-oriented, and target-driven.
Other Requirements
- Willingness to travel locally across Chennai.
- Basic proficiency in using CRM tools or Excel for lead tracking.
- Two-wheeler preferred.
