Role Overview
The Sales Executive will be responsible for achieving sales growth of electronics transformers by identifying potential clients, developing new business opportunities, and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers. The role demands both technical understanding of transformer products and strong business development skills to ensure market expansion and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development & Lead Generation
- Identify and research potential clients such as OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers), EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction Contractors) contractors, distributors, and industrial units.
- Generate new business through cold calls, plant visits, networking, trade fairs, and referrals.
- Expand sales reach in new geographical regions and industrial sectors.
2. Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients across power, electronics, and manufacturing industries.
- Understand the client's technical specifications and recommend suitable transformer solutions.
- Provide timely after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
3. Sales Operations & Deal Closure
- Conduct product presentations, technical discussions, and demonstrations.
- Prepare quotations and proposals, and negotiate contracts for profitable sales closure.
- Work closely with production, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery.
4. Market Analysis & Strategy
- Monitor competitor offerings, pricing, and market trends in the transformer industry.
- Provide feedback to management on product improvements and customer requirements.
- Identify opportunities for diversification in electronics/electrical product lines.
5. Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain accurate CRM records of leads, client meetings, and sales pipeline.
- Submit weekly and monthly sales performance reports to management.
- Track client payments and ensure on-time collections.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Achievement of monthly/quarterly/annual transformer sales targets.
- Number of new client acquisitions (OEMs/industries).
- Lead conversion rate.
- Customer retention and repeat orders.
- Timely collection of client payments.

Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of electronics transformers, power electronics, or industrial electrical equipment.
- Ability to explain technical product specifications to clients in simple terms.

- Self-driven, result-orientated, and capable of working independently.
