Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Sales Executive in the freight forwarding business who possesses a strong and active client database. The candidate will be responsible for generating new business, managing key accounts, achieving sales targets, and promoting our international freight and courier services.

Key Responsibilities:

Generate new business for Air Freight, Sea Freight, Courier & Express services.

Utilize existing client database to drive immediate revenue.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with exporters, importers, manufacturers, and traders.

Prepare and negotiate freight quotations, spot rates, and contract rates.

Coordinate with operations, pricing, and customer service teams to ensure smooth shipment execution.

Achieve assigned monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Track market trends, competitor pricing, and customer requirements.

Ensure timely collection of payments and follow up on outstanding receivables.

Maintain proper sales records, CRM updates, and client documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience in freight forwarding / logistics sales.

Must have an existing and active client database.

Strong knowledge of Air Freight, Sea Freight, Customs Clearance, and Courier services.

Good understanding of INCOTERMS, freight costing, and trade lanes.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Ability to work independently and under sales targets.

Proficient in MS Excel, email communication, and basic CRM tools.

Preferred Profile:

Experience working with international freight forwarders or courier companies.

Exposure to UPS / DHL / FedEx / other express operators will be an added advantage.

Immediate joiner preferred.
