Job Description - Hotel Sales Manager

Role Purpose
The Hotel Sales Manager is responsible for driving room revenue, corporate business, and banquet sales by acquiring new accounts, managing key relationships, and achieving assigned revenue targets while maintaining brand standards and rate integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate room nights through Corporate, Travel Agents, and B2B segments
- Acquire and manage key corporate and institutional accounts
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets
- Conduct daily sales calls, client meetings, and hotel site inspections
- Negotiate rates, contracts, and agreements within approved guidelines
- Coordinate with Revenue Management, Front Office, Banquets, and Operations
- Drive banquet, conference, wedding, and long-stay business
- Participate in sales blitzes, roadshows, and networking events
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports
- Maintain accurate MIS, CRM, and account documentation
- Ensure rate integrity and adherence to brand sales policies
- Handle key client escalations professionally

Skills & Competencies
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
- Sound understanding of hotel sales segments
- Knowledge of basic revenue management concepts
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet targets
- Strong reporting and analytical ability
Qualification & Experience
- Graduate; Hotel Management preferred
- 3-6 years of experience in hotel sales
- Exposure to corporate, banquet, and travel trade sales
