Job Description

Responsibility for the realization of the set sales targets for Southern and Eastern India towards clearly defined objectives and in close collaboration with the internal sales department, in order to contribute to the realization of the turnover of the organization by means of active sales and prospecting.

Maintenance and further development of the commercial contacts with new and existing customers in order to realize the set turnover.

  • Constant customer visits to analyze and guide the purchase behavior of the customer
  • Providing optimal assistance to customers in case of problems/complaints and by doing so offering a good service
  • Maintaining telephonic contact with the customers on a regular basis to achieve the sales objectives
  • Active sales and promotion of the complete product portfolio in order to stimulate the sales to realize the set turnover.
  • Taking the lead with the development of new markets/segments for both new and existing customers, in order to differentiate and expand the basis.
  • Contacting and mapping new customers (suspects and prospects), in order to further develop the customer portfolio within the defined sales objectives.
  • Responsibility for the creation of qualitative (*) reports, in order to be able to guarantee a good follow up of the customer contacts.
  • Responsibility for investigating and resolving queries from customers. Follow up on collection of outstanding payment from customers.

Desired Experience

Minimum 3 years of sales experience in spare parts/equipment in the relevant industries. Knowledge of current market & to expand market share with new customers

  • Ability to work out sales objectives and strategies for assigned customers within a defined region.
  • Ability to collect marketing & competitors information & to report timely to managers.
  • Ability to collect debts.
  • Ability to provide quality after-sales service to customers.
  • Ability to meet annual sales targets and to spend within expenses budget assigned.
  • Self-motivated and organized individual.
  • Proven Track record of achieving KPI's and targets.
  • Outgoing with an ability to build rapport with people of all backgrounds.
