Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Sales Director – Call Center to lead and scale outbound telesales operations in India. This role will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing large sales teams, optimizing call center performance, and building a high-performing sales culture.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in outbound telesales operations, team leadership, KPI management, coaching, and sales process optimization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the daily operations of the outbound sales call center to achieve business targets
  • Develop sales processes, SOPs, and operational policies
  • Define and track KPIs for telesales teams
  • Create effective sales scripts, campaigns, and promotional strategies
  • Monitor call quality, team productivity, and customer interactions
  • Analyze sales data and operational metrics to improve efficiency and conversions
  • Conduct performance reviews, coaching, and training sessions
  • Handle escalated customer concerns and complex operational issues
  • Drive employee engagement, motivation, and retention
  • Manage workforce planning, hiring, and performance management
  • Prepare daily and weekly sales performance reports
  • Collaborate closely with senior leadership on business growth strategies

Required Skills & Experience

  • Graduate in any discipline (10+2+3 education system)
  • 8+ years of experience in outbound telesales/call center operations
  • Minimum 6 years in leadership roles managing teams of 50+ members
  • Strong experience in sales operations, coaching, and team performance management
  • Excellent analytical and reporting skills with a data-driven mindset
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience working in fast-paced or startup-like environments is preferred
  • Energetic, proactive, and execution-focused leadership style
  • Fluent English communication skills required
