- Post/Designation: Sales Manager/Sr Sales Manager, based on relevant experience & seniority.
- Job-Description(Role & Responsibilities):
- Business Growth:
- Own, drive and lead the entire sales lifecycle—lead generation, prospecting, client engagement, negotiation, closure, customer support & relationship building. Develop/retain customers in assigned categories/territories.
- Drive revenue growth across assigned areas & achieve budgets.
- Create strong entry pipelines with key accounts and convert opportunities into business.
- Plan, co-create the Sales Plan; Set measurable sales targets, build action plans, and execute proactively. Regularly review and update on the execution.
- Strategic Selling:
- Lead consultative selling with techno-commercial understanding.
- Position Steviatech solutions against conventional sweeteners and competing natural ingredients.
- Build category-wise opportunity plans and customer acquisition strategies.
- Channel Management:
- Guide and energise distributor partners.
- Support distributor sales teams in target account conversion.
- Startup Leadership:
- Operate with ownership in a fast-moving startup environment.
- Contribute to build a sales-system and not just sales.
- Contribute to Strategic growth along with immediate targets.
- P&L outlook & Monthly
- Regular customer meetings to Pitch, identify pain-points, learn industry needs/trends, and deliver win-win solutions.
- Maintain communication bw RO(reporting officer), internal/external teams.
- Maintain & monitor pipeline tracking in CRM/tracker & monthly report/tracker.
- Cold-call, qualify leads, and build decision-maker relationships.
- Lead/participate in key exhibitions decided.
- Key Skills Required:
- Excellent Selling, Presentation & Negotiation skills.
- Very good communication skills & confidence with spoken English.
- Very good Interpersonal skills, ability to connect, create rapport, built-trust and maintain good relationships with key-person/customer.
- Good skills with effective writing and email etiquettes.
- Active/effective-Listening: Ability to understand customer actual needs and beyond what they say. Questioning & Engagement skills: Effective questioning to dig deeper into customers mind.
- Problem-solving: Identifying customer pain-points and offering tailored solutions.
- Time Management & Organization: Prioritising high-value tasks, keeping track and follow-ups, managing multiple clients efficiently.
- Persistent & Resilience: Not getting discouraged by rejections and continuing to find different ways to push forward and move ahead.
- Tech Savviness: Ability to make use modern tools, basic software and tools like CRM, etc.
- Pleasing tone & etiquettes.
- Adaptable & Self-Motivated.
- Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Core Salesperson with 8+ years of technical sales in B2B with proven track record in food ingredients market in India.
- Food Technologist + MBA/PGDBM(marketing) prefered.
- High initiative/ownership, target-driven.
- Strong commercial maturity with ability to close strategic accounts.
- Comfortable working in a high-ownership startup environment.
- Able to combine field execution and strategic thinking.
- Physically fit, non-smoker.
- Ahmedabad-based or willing to relocate.

- Job Type: Full-time, WFO(Work from Office), with a 10-15 day/month domestic travel.
