Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Sales Manager position based in Kharagpur. The Sales Manager will play a key role in driving sales growth, developing strong relationships with clients and agents, and meeting agreed sales targets. Responsibilities include guiding the sales team, analyzing sales data, creating and implementing sales strategies, and identifying business opportunities to expand market reach. The role also involves aiding in customer service and responding to inquiries to ensure client satisfaction. The Sales Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals and uphold Star Health's commitment to excellent customer experience.

Qualifications

  • Strong sales and business development skills, including target achievement and customer acquisition.
  • Proficiency in team management, leadership, and training to motivate and guide sales teams.
  • Effective communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities to establish and maintain client relationships.
  • Analytical and strategic thinking skills for interpreting sales data, forecasting, and improving performance metrics.
  • Working knowledge of the insurance sector is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with digital tools and sales platforms for improved operational efficiency.
  • Highly motivated and goal-driven, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; prior experience in sales is preferred.
