Job Title: Sales Manager Staffing (Book of Business Required)
SoftBay is seeking a high-energy, results-driven Sales Manager to join our growing firm. Unlike traditional sales roles, we are specifically looking for an industry veteran who brings a portable book of business and established relationships with hiring managers.
Key Responsibilities
- Revenue Generation: Transition and maintain existing staffing contracts while aggressively identifying new high-margin opportunities.
- Strategic Growth: Develop and execute a sales plan to expand the footprint of your current accounts.
- Team Collaboration: Partner with our recruiting team to ensure a high submittal-to-hire ratio for your clients.
- Contract Negotiation: Lead the negotiation of Master Service Agreements (MSAs) and fee structures.
- Market Intelligence: Act as a subject matter expert in your niche (e.g., IT, Healthcare, Light Industrial) to consult clients on labor trends.
What are we looking for:
- The Book: Proven track record of generating in annual billings with active, transferable client relationships.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in staffing sales (B2B), with a deep understanding of the recruitment lifecycle.
- Proven Closer: A history of winning MSAs with mid-market or enterprise-level companies.
- Consultative Approach: Ability to move beyond vendor status to become a strategic partner for your clients.
- Independence: A self-starter who doesn't need warm leads provided but knows how to hunt and farm their own network.
