Role Overview:
We are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth across AIM Media House's events and conferences. The role combines direct sales responsibility: you will personally close high-value sponsorship deals.
This is a strategic role requiring an entrepreneurial mindset, strong consultative sales skills, and experience in managing sponsorship/partnership sales for B2B events or media.
Key Responsibilities:
● Sales Leadership & Deal Closures:
○ Drive sponsorship sales for AIM Media House's international events and digital media platforms.
○ Lead from the front by closing key deals directly with senior decision-makers (CMOs, CROs, Field Marketing Heads, etc.).
○ Build and manage a pipeline of prospects, ensuring consistent revenue growth.
○ Support sales reps in deal strategy, pitch preparation, and negotiation.
○ Foster a high-performance culture with accountability, coaching, and recognition.
● Client Relationship Management:
○ Ensure an excellent client experience pre-, during, and post-event.
○ Maintain a consultative sales approach to understand client GTM priorities and align solutions accordingly.
Desired Skills & Experience:
● 8 - 15 years of experience in sponsorship sales for events and conferences
● Proven track record of closing high-value deals with senior executives.
● Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
● Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
