This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sales Manager South-East Asia – Government & Law Enforcement based in India.
This role offers the opportunity to lead business development across Southeast Asia, with a strong focus on government and law-enforcement customers.
You will own a regional territory, developing strategic relationships and building a sustainable pipeline across diverse and complex markets.
The position combines consultative technology sales with a deep understanding of public-sector procurement, budgeting, tenders, and stakeholder environments.
You will manage sophisticated sales cycles from initial engagement and opportunity development through negotiation and contract closure.
A key part of the role involves building local partnerships, identifying market-entry strategies, and developing trusted networks across the region.
You will collaborate closely with solution architecture, product, and internal teams to translate customer needs into compelling technology propositions.

Accountabilities
- Develop and grow business across Southeast Asia, focusing on government, law-enforcement, public-safety, intelligence, and related public-sector customers.
- Build, manage, and continuously develop a strong regional sales pipeline for data, intelligence, AI, and technology solutions.
- Identify, qualify, develop, and close new business opportunities across assigned Southeast Asian markets.
- Own complex government sales cycles from initial engagement and needs discovery through commercial structuring, negotiation, and contract closure.
- Develop compelling value propositions based on customer requirements and the capabilities of the solutions being offered.
- Navigate government budgeting, procurement, tendering, purchasing, and decision-making processes across different Southeast Asian markets.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across government and law-enforcement environments.
- Establish and manage a strong regional ecosystem of partners, agents, distributors, and channels.
- Identify appropriate local partners and engagement models based on the specific requirements and dynamics of each market.
- Develop a high-level network across relevant government, law-enforcement, intelligence, and business communities.
- Assess market opportunities and determine effective long-term market-entry and engagement strategies.
- Manage opportunity prioritization, commercial negotiations, deal structures, and execution through to completion.
- Consistently work toward assigned revenue targets and strategic sales objectives.
- Monitor market developments, customer needs, competitive activity, and emerging opportunities across Southeast Asia.
- Coordinate closely with solution architecture, product, and other internal teams to develop effective customer proposals and advance opportunities.
- Travel regularly across Southeast Asia to support customer meetings, partner development, negotiations, and business expansion.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of proven B2G sales experience selling software, technology solutions, or IT services to government customers within Southeast Asia.
- Strong experience working with law-enforcement, public-safety, intelligence, security, or other government agencies is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated understanding of government budgeting, procurement, tendering, purchasing, and public-sector decision-making processes in Southeast Asian markets.
- Strong knowledge of Southeast Asian business environments and the ability to navigate different cultural, political, commercial, and stakeholder dynamics.
- Proven ability to manage and close complex government sales opportunities involving long and multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
- Experience developing business through local partners, agents, channels, or strategic alliances.
- An established network within government and/or law-enforcement communities across Southeast Asia is a significant advantage.
- Experience in intelligence, data fusion, public safety, or related technology domains is a plus.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, presentation, relationship-building, and influencing skills.
- Ability to independently own a regional territory, prioritize opportunities, and take full accountability for commercial outcomes.
- Strong commercial judgment combined with a consultative and customer-focused approach.
- Results-oriented, proactive, collaborative, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving international environment.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly throughout Southeast Asia.
