Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Manager role based in Hospet. The Sales Manager will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, managing the end-to-end sales cycle, and achieving revenue and profitability targets for security, facility management, and cash logistics services. Day-to-day activities include prospecting and lead generation, conducting client meetings and presentations, preparing proposals and quotations, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely closure of deals. The role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers, understanding their operational needs, and collaborating with operations and finance teams to deliver tailored solutions. The Sales Manager will also track market trends and competition, maintain accurate sales forecasts and reports, and contribute to strategic sales planning and local business development initiatives in Hospet and surrounding areas.
Qualifications
  • Proven skills in B2B sales, business development, and account management, preferably in services such as security, facility management, logistics, or related industries.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers and build long-term client relationships.
  • Ability to analyze customer needs, prepare commercial proposals, and manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to contract closure.
  • Proficiency in using CRM tools, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and basic digital platforms for reporting, pipeline management, and customer communication.
  • Solid organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize, handle multiple accounts, and meet targets under deadlines.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
  • Relevant experience in the local Hospet market or nearby regions and familiarity with industrial, commercial, or institutional customer segments is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel within the region for client visits, site surveys, and business development activities.
