As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Complete all assigned Hilton University training courses promptly and pass the required assessments.
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of all hotel products, services, and related activities.
- Promote and sell all hotel products, including but not limited to guestrooms, catering, and banquet services.
- Achieve sales targets and fulfill related tasks set by the hotel's leadership.
- Develop and execute sales plans, maintaining and growing accounts in assigned regions or industries.
- Understand client needs through proactive sales efforts (phone calls, face-to-face meetings, site inspections).
- Prepare accurate quotations, issue contracts, and ensure timely follow-up.
- Conduct hotel tours for prospective clients and business partners.
- Manage bookings through the hotel's reservation system.
- Issue team work orders accurately, ensuring internal departments are informed of client requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients; ensure client profiles and preferences are updated regularly.
- Promote Hilton properties within the broader Hilton network to clients.
- Collect and share market intelligence and competitor analysis with the Sales Team.
- Monitor and report on competitor activities, including product launches, key accounts, and promotional offers.
- Welcome and host VIP guests, key clients, and team leaders during hotel visits and stays.
- Motivate, guide, and train team members, ensuring high performance.
- Facilitate effective communication between Sales and Operations teams to ensure flawless event execution.
- Manage guest feedback or complaints with a focus on timely resolution and service recovery.
- Maximize sales at every opportunity and accurately forecast team and banquet revenues.
- Provide support and guidance to junior sales staff in preparing team quotes and contracts.
- Participate actively in marketing planning and execution to achieve departmental budgets.
- Create new hotel products and experiences based on market demand.
- Organize client engagement initiatives, including in-house experiences and external team-building activities.
- Regularly analyze source markets and develop plans to expand channel distribution.
