Role Description

  • The Sales Manager – Punjab will be responsible for developing and managing sales activities for RacMet products in the Punjab region, while being based on-site in a full-time capacity.
  • This role includes identifying and nurturing new business opportunities, managing relationships with distributors, contractors, and key accounts, and providing technical and commercial support to customers.
  • The Sales Manager will prepare and deliver product presentations, negotiate pricing and contracts within company guidelines, and monitor sales performance against regional targets.
  • Day-to-day activities involve regular customer visits, market analysis, competitor monitoring, and close collaboration with the Italian headquarters and international teams to align regional sales strategies with global objectives.
  • The role also requires accurate reporting, use of CRM tools, and participation in trade shows, industry events, and training sessions as needed.

Qualifications

  • Strong sales and account management skills, including pipeline development, negotiation, and closing capabilities in B2B industrial or construction sectors.
  • Knowledge of plumbing, piping, HVAC, or related building systems; ability to understand technical specifications and explain product benefits to customers.
  • Experience in regional market development, preferably in Punjab or North India, with proven ability to build and maintain distributor and contractor networks.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with international teams.
  • Proficiency in using CRM tools, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and basic data analysis for sales reporting and forecasting.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; a technical background in mechanical or civil engineering is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and meet ambitious sales targets in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in English and Hindi; knowledge of Punjabi is a plus.
