Job Role: Sales Manager – Industrial Instruments (Field Sales | Hybrid)

Educational Background: Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Instrumentation, Electrical,

Electronics, or related fields.

Experience: 5–10 years in Industrial B2B Sales / Technical Sales. Prior field sales experience in industrial

products is mandatory.

Skills:

Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Ability to independently manage territory sales.

Commercial understanding with technical aptitude.

High ownership and execution mindset.

Comfortable with frequent customer visits and travel.

You're Role at a Glance

As a Sales Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in expanding our reach and delivering value to our clients.

Your responsibilities include:Business Development & Territory Growth

Develop and expand business across Odisha and nearby industrial clusters.

Generate enquiries from OEMs, contractors, consultants, end users, EPC companies,

utilities, and industrial plants.

Identify high-potential accounts and build long-term customer pipelines.

Technical & Application Sales

● Understand customer process requirements and recommend suitable flow measurement

and process instrumentation solutions.

● Conduct technical discussions, site visits, and application evaluations.

● Coordinate with internal technical and commercial teams for solution development.

Quotation & Order Conversion

● Prepare techno-commercial offers and negotiate pricing commercially.

● Follow up aggressively for approvals, negotiations, and order closures.

● Maintain healthy enquiry-to-order conversion ratios.

Team & Channel Development

● Guide junior sales engineers wherever required.

● Ensure disciplined CRM updates, visit planning, and reporting.

Customer Relationship Management

● Build strong relationships with plant heads, purchase teams, consultants, and project teams.

● Handle escalations professionally and maintain customer confidence.
