About the role
The Sales Manager is the face of our properties to the Delhi NCR market. You will own three revenue streams in parallel — travel agents (luxury and outbound-domestic), corporate (TMC contracts and retainer accounts), and MICE (offsites, weddings, and small group movements). So the role is about building the right relationships, not chasing volume.
Key responsibilities
- Build and own the Delhi NCR sales pipeline across three segments: travel agents, corporate, and MICE.
- Travel Agents: identify and onboard the right luxury and boutique-leaning travel agents — Travel Designer, Curator, Wandering Souls, Boutique India, Greaves, Sita, Travel House, smaller specialists — with the right rate parity and commission structure.
- Corporate: build a target list of corporate accounts, TMCs (American Express, BCD, FCM, Carlson Wagonlit, Thomas Cook), and DMCs; pitch our properties for senior-leadership stays, board offsites, and customer hosting.
- MICE: pitch and close offsite, retreat, wedding, and small-group movement enquiries; coordinate with each property on feasibility, rates, and dates.
- Run a structured sales calendar — weekly agent visits, fortnightly corporate calls, monthly trade events, and at least one familiarisation trip to each property per quarter.
- Maintain Zoho CRM cleanly — every account, every contact, every interaction, every quote, every confirmed and lost lead.
- Negotiate and close annual contracts with travel agents and corporate accounts, with rates aligned to the Pasban consolidated rate sheet.
- Represent the properties at Delhi NCR trade events, road shows, and travel marts.
- Coordinate with Reservations and Revenue teams on quotes, rate releases, and group blocks.
- Hit a quarterly room-night and revenue target across the four properties; report a clean weekly pipeline.
What we're looking for
- 4–8 years in hotel sales in Delhi NCR, with proven exposure to at least two of: travel agents, corporate, MICE, weddings.
- An existing Delhi NCR network of travel agents and corporate buyers is the single most important asset for this role.
- Boutique, luxury, or independent hotel sales experience strongly preferred over large-chain experience.
- Comfort owning a number — pipeline, conversion, room nights, and revenue.
- Strong written English; ability to draft a clean proposal, contract, and follow-up note.
- Working knowledge of CRM (Zoho, Salesforce, or HubSpot) and standard Excel / Google Sheets.
- Willing to travel — within Delhi NCR for client meetings, and to all four properties for famils, site inspections, and large bookings.
- Hospitality / business / management degree preferred; track record matters more than the degree.
