Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and result-driven Sales Manager to lead customer acquisition, retail sales, and brand growth for ANSH Designer Wear at our Kodambakkam showroom.
This full-time, on-site role involves managing showroom sales, handling customer relationships, converting enquiries into sales, overseeing follow-ups, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate should be passionate about fashion retail, highly customer-focused, and capable of driving revenue growth through effective sales strategies and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and grow showroom sales while achieving monthly revenue targets.
* Handle customer enquiries from walk-ins, WhatsApp, Instagram, phone calls, and referrals.
* Ensure a premium customer experience from enquiry to delivery.
* Build strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat purchases and referrals.
* Track sales performance, customer conversions, and follow-up activities.
* Coordinate with the design and production teams to ensure timely order execution.
* Develop local marketing and customer acquisition initiatives to increase footfall.
* Train and supervise the sales team to maintain high service standards.
* Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports for management.
Qualifications & Skills
* Proven experience in retail sales, fashion sales, luxury sales, or customer relationship management.
* Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
* Experience handling WhatsApp, Instagram, and digital sales enquiries.
* Ability to convert leads into sales and achieve revenue targets.
* Fluent in Tamil and English.
* Leadership experience in managing a sales team is preferred.
Qualifications & Skills
* Proven experience in Sales Management, Retail Operations, or Business Development (experience in the fashion or apparel industry is preferred).
* Strong B2B networking, lead generation, and negotiation skills.
* Excellent communication skills in both English and Tamil (mandatory).
* Demonstrated leadership ability with a track record of achieving business goals.
* Highly motivated, result-oriented, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
Job Details
Location: Kodambakkam, Chennai
Working Hours: 12:00 noon to 9:00 PM
Weekly Offs: 4 paid week-offs per month (weekends excluded)
Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹28,000 per month, plus attractive performance-based incentives
