Job Description

Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our Loan Against Property (LAP) sales team. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding our market presence, and ensuring exceptional customer service in the LAP segment.

Job Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed LAP sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of LAP sales executives, providing ongoing training, coaching, and performance management.
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities and partnerships to expand the LAP customer base.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities and refine sales strategies.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers, channel partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Oversee the entire LAP sales cycle, from lead generation and qualification to application, approval, and disbursal.
  • Ensure adherence to all company policies, regulatory guidelines, and ethical sales practices.
  • Prepare and present regular sales forecasts, reports, and performance reviews to senior management.
  • Collaborate with credit, operations, and marketing teams to optimize product offerings and customer experience.

Job Qualifications:**

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in sales, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial role specifically within the Loan Against Property (LAP) or mortgage lending sector.
  • Proven track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of LAP products, financial markets, and regulatory environments.
  • Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong customer-centric approach with a focus on building long-term relationships.
