Sales Manager IT Industry

Location: Kochi

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager with a proven track

record in the IT industry. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of experience,

demonstrating success in crafting and implementing long-term sales strategies, managing the

sales cycle, and converting leads into loyal clients. As a Sales Manager, you will be in charge

of business growth and cultivating lasting client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Strategy & Planning:
  • Develop and implement long-term sales strategies tailored to the IT industry.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and client needs to inform business

strategy.

  • Identify new business opportunities and markets for growth.
  • Lead Conversion & Management:
  • Manage the entire sales process, from lead generation to closing deals.
  • Implement effective lead conversion strategies to maximize customer acquisition.
  • Foster long-term relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and

retention.

  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Build and nurture strong, long-term client relationships.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for key accounts, ensuring timely responses to

client inquiries and concerns.

  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs and present tailored IT solutions.
  • Collaboration & Communication:
  • Collaborate with marketing, product development, and technical teams to align sales

initiatives with company goals.

  • Communicate sales forecasts, performance reports, and strategic plans to senior

management.

  • Sales Reporting & Analytics:
  • Prepare and present accurate sales reports, KPIs, and forecasts.
  • Leverage CRM systems and data analytics tools to track sales performance and

identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or related field (Master's is a plus).

7+ years of sales experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role within the IT industry.

Proven track record in achieving and exceeding sales targets, particularly in lead conversion

and strategy development.

Strong understanding of IT products, solutions, and services.
