Role Description
The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving enterprise sales and positioning IntelliDB as the preferred PostgreSQL-based enterprise database platform. This role involves identifying strategic opportunities, building strong customer relationships, managing end-to-end sales cycles, and collaborating closely with technical and product teams. The ideal candidate is target-oriented, proactive, and experienced in technology or enterprise software sales.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals.
• Identify and engage with BFSI and enterprise customers in the Mumbai and Western India region (including Goa, Gujarat, Maharashtra, and the Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu) to understand their database and cloud requirements.
• Manage the full sales cycle including prospecting, qualification, pitching, proposal drafting, negotiation, and closure.
• Maintain and grow relationships with key accounts to drive recurring business.
• Coordinate with marketing to support lead-generation campaigns and events.
• Monitor industry trends, competitor offerings, and market shifts to refine sales strategies.
• Participate in industry events, partner meetings, and customer workshops to build market presence.
• Act as the face of the organisation in the region and take ownership of establishing and driving business in the Western India region, working closely with the Head Office for strategic alignment, operational support, and execution.
Qualifications
