Job Title: Sales Manager  

Location: India (On-site / Mahipalpur)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Department: Sales and Business Development

Position Overview: 

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to lead business development and revenue growth for our Cloud Consulting and Cybersecurity services across the India region.

This role requires a high-energy professional who can blend strategic planning with hands-on execution. Reporting directly to the Sales Director, the Sales Manager will be responsible for building a robust sales pipeline, acquiring high-value mid-market and enterprise clients, and establishing Genese Solution as a premier cloud and security partner in India. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of the Indian IT services landscape and the ability to work seamlessly with cross-border delivery teams.

Roles and Responsibilities

A. Sales & Business Development – Ownership & Execution

Lead and execute the end-to-end sales strategy for the India region in alignment with global business goals.

Drive revenue growth specifically for Cloud Consulting and Cybersecurity service lines.

Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities with mid-market and enterprise clients.

Own the complete sales lifecycle, from initial lead generation and prospecting to final deal closure and contract negotiation.

Consistently achieve and exceed assigned sales targets, quotas, and KPIs.

B. Client & Account Management – Relationship & Governance

Serve as the primary relationship owner and brand ambassador for Indian clients.

Build and nurture long-term relationships with CIOs, CISOs, IT Heads, and senior decision-makers.

Understand complex client requirements and collaborate with technical teams to propose tailored cloud and cybersecurity solutions.

Manage account health, renewals, and identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities within the existing portfolio.

C. Cross-Regional & Strategic Responsibilities

Offshore Coordination: Work closely with technical, pre-sales, and delivery teams in Nepal and the UK to design solutions and coordinate RFP responses.

Market Expansion: Identify strategic alliances, technology partners, and channel partners to grow the company's regional footprint.

Reporting & Forecasting: Provide regular market intelligence, pipeline status, and accurate sales forecasts directly to the Sales Director.

Operational Excellence: Maintain structured documentation and CRM hygiene (HubSpot/Zoho) for all lead and deal activities.

Expected Technical Skills:

Cloud platform fundamentals (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Knowledge of Cybersecurity frameworks and managed security services.

CRM proficiency (Salesforce, HubSpot, or Zoho).

Sales analytics and pipeline management.

Competencies and Soft Skills

Strong understanding of B2B sales cycles in the Indian IT market.

Excellent communication, high-level negotiation, and professional presentation skills.

Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence C-suite executives.

High ownership, accountability, and a hunter mindset for new business.

Self-driven and capable of operating independently in a fast-paced environment.

Highly organized with strong attention to detail in proposals and contracts.

Experience working with global stakeholders and offshore delivery models.

Exposure to regulated industries (BFSI, Healthcare, etc.) for cybersecurity sales.

Experience in partner-led sales (with AWS, Microsoft, or Google).

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or a related discipline (MBA preferred).

Minimum 6+ years of experience in IT services sales.

At least 3 years of proven success selling Cloud Consulting (AWS, Azure, GCP) and/or Cybersecurity services (SOC, IAM, Compliance).
