The Role

We are looking for a driven, results-oriented Manager for C&I Rooftop Sales to expand our turnkey Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) business. In this role, you will be on the front lines of our B2B sales efforts, helping commercial and industrial enterprises transition to clean, self-sufficient energy.

You will be responsible for identifying high-potential clients, managing the end-to-end sales cycle, and leveraging our premium product portfolio to deliver customized rooftop solar solutions that maximize client ROI.

What You'll Do

B2B Sales & Pipeline Generation

• Prospecting & Acquisition: Actively hunt and engage with high-energy-consuming industrial and commercial clients to build a strong pipeline of megawatt and kilowatt-scale rooftop projects.
• Solution Pitching: Present comprehensive EPC rooftop solutions, ensuring the offering aligns with the client's financial and sustainability goals.
• Technology Advocacy: Educate clients on the long-term benefits and superior yields of integrating HVR Solar's advanced module technologies and BESS into their facilities.
• Deal Closure: Manage the complete sales cycle—from initial site-feasibility coordination and ROI presentations to contract negotiations and deal closure.

Client & Project Coordination

• Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong consultative relationships with key decision-makers, including Facility Managers, Procurement Heads, and Sustainability Officers.
• Cross-Functional Teamwork: Work closely with our internal design, engineering, and project management teams to ensure technical feasibility, accurate costing, and smooth project handovers.
• Market Tracking: Keep track of competitor activities, local commercial electricity tariffs, and state-level solar policies to position HVR Solar competitively.

What We're Looking For

✔ Experience & Track Record

• 5–8 years of proven B2B sales experience, with at least 2–4 years dedicated to Solar Rooftop EPC sales within the Commercial & Industrial segment.
• A solid track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets in the solar sector.

✔ Educational Background

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Renewable Energy) is highly preferred for technical selling.
• An MBA or PGDM in Marketing/Sales is a plus.

✔ Core Competencies

• Financial Fluency: Good understanding of solar financial modeling, payback periods, and tax benefits (like accelerated depreciation).
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with rooftop load-bearing basics, shadow analysis, module efficiencies, and grid connectivity.
• Policy Awareness: Solid grasp of net-metering regulations and commercial tariffs in the target regions.
• Sales Drive: Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, paired with a relentless, target-driven mindset.
