Job Description

Industry: Hospitality Full-service and upscale hotel & lodging sector serving corporate, leisure and events clients across India. Sector: Sales & Commercial revenue generation for hotels, focusing on corporate accounts, group bookings and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions).

Location1: Bangalore

Location 2 : Udaipur

Role & Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle for assigned accounts and segmentsidentify prospects, develop proposals, negotiate contracts, and close revenue-winning deals.
  • Drive corporate and group revenue by building and managing key account relationships, upselling hotel services, and securing repeat business.
  • Develop and execute targeted MICE and group sales strategies to maximize room nights, banquet revenue, and ancillary spend.
  • Manage pipeline, deliver accurate forecasts, and meet or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets and KPIs.
  • Collaborate with revenue management, operations, events and marketing teams to create competitive offers, packages and RFP responses.
  • Represent the hotel at client meetings, site inspections, trade shows and industry events to strengthen market presence.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

  • Proven track record in hotel sales with successful corporate, group or MICE account management.
  • Strong negotiation and contract-closing experience with corporate and travel-buying entities.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and experience managing sales pipelines and forecasts.
  • Solid understanding of revenue management principles and commercial pricing strategies.
  • Excellent presentation skills and experience leading client site inspections and RFP responses.
  • Comfortable working on-site across an Indian hotel property with frequent client-facing responsibilities.

Preferred

  • Prior experience within upscale or branded hotel chains in India.
  • Existing corporate network across industries (MICE, TMCs, corporate travel buyers).
  • Familiarity with hotel sales analytics tools and event planning platforms.
