Job Description

Job Role: Sales Executive / Manager Analytical and QA/QC Labs

Role Purpose

Grow Gopani's business in analytical, QA/QC, and microbiology labs inside pharma and

biopharma companies by supplying syringe filters, membrane filters, and lab-scale filtration

solutions as everyday consumables.

Key Products and Solutions

- Syringe filters for sample preparation.

- Membrane disc filters for lab applications.

- Small capsule filters for bench-scale filtration.

- Specialty lab filters and related consumables.

- Starter kits and evaluation packs for lab users.

Primary Customer Profiles

- QA/QC lab managers and supervisors.

- Analytical chemists and HPLC/UPLC users.

- Microbiology and sterility testing labs.

- R&D and development labs in pharma and biopharma.

Key Responsibilities

- Visit pharma and biopharma labs regularly to generate demand for lab filtration products.

- Introduce and position Gopani lab filters as consistent, reliable, and cost-effective options.

- Manage sampling, trials, and user feedback efficiently.

- Build a strong base of repeat orders and annual contracts for lab consumables.

- Coordinate with distributors or internal teams for fulfilment and stocking where needed.

- Share insights from labs with other verticals for cross-selling opportunities.

- Maintain disciplined coverage across assigned territories and key accounts.

Candidate Profile Education and Experience

- B.Sc or B.Tech in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or related field is preferred.

- 26 years of experience selling lab consumables, reagents, or instruments into

pharma/biopharma.

- Good understanding of basic lab workflows and sample preparation needs.

- Prior relationships with QA/QC and analytical teams are a strong advantage.

- For senior roles, experience managing territories or distributor networks is valuable.

- High activity and strong relationship-building skills.

- Comfortable with many small transactions and frequent follow-ups.

- Good listening skills and ability to translate user pain points into solutions.

- Organised in handling samples, demos, and repeat orders.

- Team-oriented, willing to share account access for larger strategic opportunities.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Revenue from lab consumables in assigned territory.

- Number of active lab customers ordering regularly.

- Rate of conversion from sampling to regular usage.

- Growth of business within existing lab accounts.

- Number of cross-sell leads passed to other verticals.

Travel and Location

Regular local travel to pharma and biopharma labs is expected (4070% of time, mostly day

trips).
