Sales Manager Electronics Segment (3C Market)

Job Summary

As a Sales Manager for the Electronics Segment, you will be responsible for driving sales of KUKA's advanced robotics and automation solutions in India, with a strong focus on the 3C market (Computers, Communications, and Consumer Electronics).

This role demands strategic business development, consultative selling, and relationship management to create a strong foothold in the electronics manufacturing ecosystem. You will work closely with OEM's, Contract manufacturers, and System integrators to identify opportunities, generate leads, and convert them into successful orders that contribute to the organization's growth.

Electronics Segment Sales Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the electronics segment, focusing on 3C market players, OEM's, and Contract Manufacturers.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve targets for KUKA robotics and automation solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers, understanding their automation needs and challenges.
  • Conduct customer visits, presentations, and product demonstrations to showcase KUKA's capabilities and value proposition.
  • Prepare and deliver technical and commercial proposals, negotiate contracts, and close sales in alignment with company policies.
  • Ensure customers are aware of and leverage the full range of KUKA Group offerings across Robotics, Systems, and Logistics solutions.

Market Intelligence & Strategy

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in electronics automation.
  • Provide feedback to management on customer requirements, market developments, and potential product enhancements.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop targeted campaigns and promotional activities for the electronics segment.

Project Coordination

  • Liaise with application engineering, project management, and service teams to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Support customers during project implementation, addressing technical queries and ensuring timely delivery.

Reporting & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline, and customer interactions using CRM tools.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and confidentiality requirements.

Application Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Electronics, or related field) or equivalent experience in industrial automation/robotics sales.
  • 10+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in electronics manufacturing or industrial automation.
  • Strong technical acumen and ability to understand and communicate complex automation solutions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented approach.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within India.
  • Proficiency in English; Knowledge of regional languages (Tamil, Kannada) is an added advantage.
