Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sales Manager – DM Channel (Life Insurance), based in Noida. The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving life insurance sales through the Direct Marketing (DM) channel, including managing lead funnels, nurturing prospects, and ensuring high conversion rates. The role involves planning and executing channel-specific campaigns, monitoring performance metrics, and aligning daily activities with business targets and compliance standards. The Sales Manager will recruit, train, and coach channel team members or telecallers (as applicable), provide regular performance feedback, and coordinate with cross-functional teams such as marketing, underwriting, and operations to ensure smooth policy issuance and post-sales service. The position also includes market intelligence gathering, competitor analysis, and contributing to process improvements to enhance customer experience and channel productivity.

Qualifications

  • Strong life insurance domain knowledge, including understanding of term plans, ULIPs, protection solutions, and regulatory/compliance requirements in the insurance sector.
  • Proven sales and business development skills in financial services or insurance, with experience in meeting or exceeding revenue, productivity, and conversion targets.
  • Experience managing or working within Direct Marketing, inside sales, telesales, or digital lead-based channels, with the ability to optimize lead management and customer journeys.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with a customer-first mindset and the ability to handle objections and close sales effectively.
  • People management capabilities, including team coaching, performance monitoring, and motivation to drive high-performing sales teams.
  • Comfort with CRM tools, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint), basic data analysis, and reporting to track and improve channel performance.
