About the Role
Teleindia Datacenter Pvt. Ltd. is expanding its data center colocation business and is looking for a driven, high-energy Sales Manager to own new business acquisition in the Bangalore market. This is a hunter role for someone who thrives on cold outreach, client meetings, and closing — not account maintenance. You'll be selling colocation space, rack/cage solutions, and connectivity services to enterprises, IT companies, and cloud/managed service providers actively evaluating data center infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
• Identify, prospect, and generate new business leads for colocation, rack space, and connectivity services across Bangalore and surrounding markets
• Build and manage a strong sales pipeline through cold calling, networking, referrals, and digital outreach
• Conduct client meetings and data center site visits to present Teleindia's colocation offerings and value proposition
• Understand client infrastructure requirements and coordinate with technical/solutions teams to design fit-for-purpose proposals
• Prepare and negotiate commercial proposals, pricing, and contracts to close deals within target timelines
• Maintain accurate pipeline and forecast data in CRM; report weekly progress against sales targets
• Build long-term relationships with IT heads, CTOs, procurement teams, and infrastructure decision-makers
• Stay current on data center industry trends, competitor offerings, and market pricing to position Teleindia effectively
•Collaborate with marketing and pre-sales teams to convert inbound leads and support proposal development
• Represent Teleindia at industry events, trade shows, and networking forums to build market presence
What We're Looking For
• 3+ years of experience in B2B sales — data center, IT infrastructure, telecom, or technology solutions sales strongly preferred
• A genuine go-getter attitude — self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable with a hunting/new-business sales mandate
• Strong communication and presentation skills; confident engaging with senior stakeholders (CTOs, IT Heads, Procurement)
• Ability to understand technical infrastructure concepts (colocation, racks, power, connectivity) and translate them into client value
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a previous role
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals independently
• Proficiency with CRM tools, MS Excel, and proposal/presentation tools
• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field
• Willingness to travel locally for client meetings and site visits
