Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Surat for a Sales Manager specializing in Consumer Durables. The role involves driving business growth by expanding the dealer network, strengthening relationships with existing retail partners, and ensuring consistent market penetration across assigned territories.

The Sales Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing the end-to-end sales cycle, and achieving revenue and volume targets. Key responsibilities include analyzing market trends, tracking competitor activities, planning and executing sales strategies, and ensuring optimal product availability in the market.

The role also requires close coordination with brands, internal teams, and retailers to ensure smooth operations, timely deliveries, and high levels of customer satisfaction.

Salary: Rs. 7,00,000 - Rs. 10,00,000/- per annum (CTC)

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in sales, dealer management, and achieving revenue targets within the Consumer Durables industry
  • Strong understanding of products such as appliances, small domestic appliances (SDA), and consumer electronics, along with market dynamics
  • Demonstrated ability to build, manage, and grow a strong dealer/retailer network
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
  • Ability to analyze market trends, competitor activities, and translate insights into effective sales strategies
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to perform in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools for reporting, tracking, and pipeline management
  • Self-driven, proactive, and adaptable with a strong ownership mindset
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred
  • Prior experience in distribution, especially within consumer durables or electronics, will be a strong advantage

Experience: 5 years minimum

Educational Qualification: Graduate or above

Office Timing: 09:30 AM to 07:00 PM

Key Responsibilities - Sales Manager (Consumer Durables):

  • Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive growth in the Consumer Durables segment. Monitor targets, track performance, and ensure achievement of revenue and volume goals.
  • Market Expansion: Identify and onboard new dealers and retail partners across assigned territories. Strengthen market presence by improving product reach, visibility, and availability.
  • Dealer & Key Account Management: Build and manage strong relationships with key dealers, retailers, and channel partners. Negotiate commercial terms, ensure smooth order flow, and drive repeat business.
  • Brand & Product Push: Work closely with brand partners to execute schemes, promotions, and product launches. Ensure effective in-market execution and visibility at the retail level.
  • Market Intelligence: Track competitor activities, pricing trends, and customer preferences to provide actionable insights and improve sales strategies.
  • Operations Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams (logistics, accounts, and support) to ensure timely deliveries, stock availability, and efficient service mechanism.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Resolve dealer concerns, manage escalations, and maintain high levels of satisfaction to build long-term partnerships.
