JOB BRIEF
We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager Civil Market to drive sales growth in the home appliances segment. The role focuses on managing and expanding dealer and distributor networks, institutional sales, and channel partnerships across assigned regions. The candidate should have strong market knowledge, hands-on field experience, and exposure to GeM and institutional procurement.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY
1. Develop and expand sales in the civil market, majorly in the home appliances sector.
2. Appoint, manage, and strengthen dealer and distributor networks across assigned territories
3. Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets through effective channel management.
4. Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers, distributors, institutional buyers, and key accounts.
5. Drive secondary sales, ensure market penetration, and improve brand visibility.
6. Handle institutional and corporate sales
7. Coordinate with marketing and operations teams for promotions, schemes, and product launches.
8. Monitor competitor activity, pricing trends, and market dynamics.
9. Ensure timely collection, stock movement, and healthy channel inventory.
10. Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and MIS for management review.
EDUCATION
MinimumEducation:- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
EXPERIENCE
Minimum Experience in Civil Market / Home Appliances :- 67 years
Minimum Total Experience :- 10 years
Proven experience in dealer & distributor handling is mandatory
BEHAVIROUAL & TECHNICAL SKILLS
1. Strong experience in dealer and distributor management.
2. In-depth knowledge of the home appliances market and civil/institutional sales channels.
3. Exposure to GeM portal and institutional procurement processes.
4. Excellent negotiation, relationship-building, and channel development skills.
5. Ability to plan and execute sales strategies at regional and market levels.
6. Willingness to travel extensively and engage in field sales activities.
7. Strong analytical, reporting, and forecasting abilities.
8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
9. Self-driven, target-oriented, and capable of leading market expansion initiatives.
