Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Sales Manager / Business Development professional to drive growth for our Digital Forensics and Cyber Security solutions across Central and State Government accounts. The role involves end-to-end ownership of the sales cycle, relationship management with key stakeholders, and contributing to revenue expansion in the government (B2G) sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key government stakeholders including IPS officers, DGPs, IT Heads, and CISO-level officials
- Drive the complete sales lifecycle – from lead generation, client meetings, solution demonstrations, proposal submission to deal closure
- Identify, track, and manage opportunities through government procurement channels such as GeM, tenders, and defence procurement processes
- Collaborate closely with pre-sales and technical teams to deliver impactful product demonstrations and Proof of Concepts (PoCs)
- Achieve assigned quarterly and annual revenue targets
- Represent the organization at government forums, industry events, and conferences
- Continuously monitor market trends, competitor activities, and new business opportunities in the Digital Forensics and Cyber Security domain.
Requirements:
- 2–6 years of experience in B2G sales, preferably in Cyber Security, Digital Forensics, Surveillance, or Defence Technology
- Understanding of government procurement processes (GeM, GFR, tenders)
- Knowledge of Digital Forensics tools or Cyber Security solutions is preferred
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage stakeholder relationships
- Self-driven and target-oriented
- Willingness to travel across India
