Job Description

We are partnering with a global leader in industrial coatings to appoint a Sales Manager to support the continued growth of its infrastructure and protective coatings business in Singapore.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven sales professional with experience in the construction, building materials, or industrial coatings sectors to develop strategic customer relationships and drive specification sales across major infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development & Account Management

  • Drive new business development while growing existing customer accounts within the infrastructure and construction sectors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with asset owners, consultants, contractors, and applicators.
  • Identify new project opportunities and develop strategies to maximise market share and revenue growth.

Project & Specification Sales

  • Promote technical coating solutions to consultants, engineers, and project stakeholders to secure product specifications.
  • Monitor project progress and provide commercial and technical support throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare quotations, proposals, and technical presentations to support successful project awards.

Commercial Management

  • Develop account plans and manage customer pipelines to achieve sales targets.
  • Monitor commercial performance, including pricing, profitability, and payment collections.
  • Work closely with internal technical and customer service teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering, Construction, Building Materials, Chemistry, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in sales or business development within the construction, building materials, protective coatings, or related industries.
  • Experience managing project sales and engaging consultants, contractors, or project owners.
  • Strong commercial acumen, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
