Sales Manager South India

The company works closely with manufacturers and brands across India, providing customized fragrance solutions and consistent product quality.
Role OverviewThe Sales Manager will be responsible for managing and expanding the fragrance business across South India, including Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai, and Kerala. The role includes business development, key account management, customer relationship management, and achieving regional sales targets.
Key ResponsibilitiesFull ownership of fragrance sales within the assigned South India territory.
Identify and develop new customers in cosmetics, personal care, home care, incense, and wellness sectors.
Travel 56 days per week within the assigned territory to visit customers and develop new business opportunities.
Generate leads through exhibitions, market visits, online research, and industry referrals.
Build strong relationships with procurement teams, perfumers, R&D teams, and key decision makers.
Develop business with pharma and personal care manufacturers, skincare brands, contract manufacturers, and Ayurvedic product companies in the region.
Plan and execute fragrance sales strategy for the territory.
Maintain regular customer interaction and follow-ups to build long-term business relationships.
Coordinate with production and dispatch teams for smooth order execution.
Update customer database and maintain accurate sales records.
Monitor competitor activity and market trends within the region.
Desired Skills & ExperienceMinimum 4 years of experience in fragrance / aroma chemicals / cosmetic raw material sales.
MBA / Science graduate preferred.
Fluent in English and Hindi; knowledge of regional languages is an advantage.
Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
Ability to work in a target-driven environment and independently manage regional sales.
