Role Description The Sales Manager for the Bajaj Life PSF channel will lead and manage sales activities, focusing on driving business growth through the Partner Sales Force in the assigned territory. This full-time, on-site role based in Noida involves achieving sales targets, monitoring performance metrics, and ensuring adherence to company processes and compliance standards. The Sales Manager will recruit, train, and mentor sales team members and channel partners, support them with product knowledge, and enable effective customer engagement. Day-to-day responsibilities include building strong relationships with partners and customers, planning local sales initiatives, tracking market trends, and sharing feedback to enhance product positioning and service delivery. The role also requires collaboration with internal stakeholders across operations, marketing, and customer service to maintain a seamless sales experience.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong sales and business development abilities, including experience meeting or exceeding targets in insurance or financial services.
  • Candidates should possess skills in team leadership and people management, including coaching, performance monitoring, and motivating diverse sales teams.
  • Candidates should possess relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills to work effectively with channel partners, customers, and internal teams.
  • Candidates should possess analytical and planning skills, including the ability to interpret sales data, identify trends, and develop local sales strategies.
  • Candidates should possess clear communication and negotiation skills, with proficiency in presenting complex financial products in an accessible manner.
  • Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor's degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related field are preferred; an MBA or industry certifications in insurance are an added advantage.
  • Prior experience in life insurance sales, PSF or bancassurance channels, and familiarity with digital sales tools and CRM platforms will be beneficial.
