Sales Manager B LAP, Jamnagar

A Sales Manager for Loan Against Property (LAP) at Godrej Capital / Godrej Housing Finance in Mumbai is responsible for driving secured lending sales, managing distribution channels, and achieving monthly disbursement and sanction goals. [1, 2]

Key Responsibilities

• Channel Management: Manage sales and source business through Direct Sales Associates (DSAs), connectors, and channel partners for Home Loans and LAP products. [1]
• Partner Acquisition: Onboard and develop new DSAs, connectors, and key relationship networks within the assigned Mumbai geography. [1]
• Sales Targets: Achieve monthly sanction and disbursement targets set by the organization. [1]
• Customer & Financial Advisory: Meet prospective clients, understand their financial requirements, and offer tailored loan solutions. [1]
• Product Education: Guide customers on product features, eligibility criteria, documentation, terms and conditions, and repayment schedules. [1]
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with Credit, Legal, Technical, Risk Containment Unit (RCU), Operations, and Sales Support teams for smooth file processing and quick Turnaround Time (TAT). [1]
• Compliance & Market Tracking: Ensure strict adherence to company policies and regulatory guidelines while monitoring competitor activities and market trends. [1]
  
  

Eligibility & Qualifications

• Experience: Typically 2 to 4+ years of experience in BFSI, specifically in Business LAP, Mortgage, or Secured Lending sales.
• Sourcing Network: Mandatory prior experience with DSA sourcing and active relationships with local market connectors.
• Education: Minimum Graduate (MBA in Marketing or Finance preferred).
• Key Skills: Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, basic financial analysis/credit understanding, and proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint). [1, 2, 3, 4]
