Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales professional to join our dynamic HVAC team specializing in Chillers and Heat Pumps. The ideal candidate will have strong technical sales expertise, a deep understanding of HVAC systems, and a proven track record in driving business growth. The role involves managing key customer relationships, developing new business opportunities, and contributing to overall sales strategy in collaboration with the General Manager. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-growing environment across key metro locations in India.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Strategy & Planning
- Develop and execute sales strategies for HVAC Chillers and Heat Pumps aligned with business goals.
- Set and achieve sales targets, revenue objectives, and market expansion plans.
- Identify new business opportunities and market segments.
2. Customer Engagement & Business Development
- Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants, contractors, and end clients.
- Identify and convert new business opportunities in assigned regions.
- Conduct product presentations and technical discussions with customers.
3. Product & Technical Expertise
- Maintain strong knowledge of HVAC systems, especially chillers and heat pumps.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
- Provide technical solutions tailored to customer requirements.
4. Sales Execution & Deal Closure
- Prepare techno-commercial proposals, quotations, and tenders.
- Lead negotiations and close high-value deals.
- Coordinate with engineering, projects, and logistics teams for smooth execution.
5. Market Analysis & Reporting
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis.
- Track sales performance and prepare MIS reports.
- Provide forecasts and actionable insights to management.
6. Team Collaboration
- Work closely with internal sales and technical teams.
- Mentor junior team members when required.
- Support cross-functional coordination for project execution.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferred).
- 4-10 years of experience in HVAC sales, especially Chillers and Heat Pumps.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems and applications.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to handle clients, consultants, and contractors.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
- Willingness to travel as per business needs.
