Job Description

The Sales Manager Apparel Distribution will be responsible for driving sales growth through the trade distribution network including distributors, multi-brand outlets (MBOs), and regional partners. The role focuses on expanding market coverage, improving secondary sales, strengthening distributor relationships, and ensuring effective product placement and brand visibility.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Revenue Growth

  • Achieve primary and secondary sales targets across assigned territories.
  • Drive volume growth through distributors, MBOs, and trade partners.
  • Monitor market demand and ensure availability of key styles and sizes.

2. Distributor Management

  • Appoint and manage distributors in assigned markets.
  • Set sales targets and monitor distributor performance.
  • Ensure timely collections and adherence to credit terms.

3. Market Expansion

  • Identify new markets and onboard additional retail partners.
  • Increase brand presence across key trade channels.
  • Conduct regular market visits to assess sales opportunities and competition.

4. Retail Visibility & Merchandising

  • Ensure brand visibility and proper product display at trade outlets.
  • Support trade marketing activities and promotional campaigns.
  • Coordinate with VM and marketing teams for in-store branding.

5. Sales Monitoring & Reporting

  • Track secondary sales, stock levels, and product sell-through.
  • Provide regular sales MIS and territory performance reports.
  • Share market insights, competitor pricing, and customer feedback.
