We're a 7-year-old digital agency operating across India and the UAE. We build web design, SEO, paid ads, branding, and AI automation for D2C brands, funded startups, and mid-market companies. We're now building a sales function.
You are the sales function.
This is a first hire, not a seat in an existing team. You'll own revenue generation end-to-end and work directly with the founder.
The role
You own the full sales cycle for deals under ₹4L: sourcing, qualifying, running discovery, writing proposals, negotiating, and closing. The founder takes deals of ₹5L+ with your support. You'll activate our existing referral pipeline and dormant leads, and build outbound from the ground up using our pricing architecture and proposal templates, you won't be inventing this from scratch.
This is a Pune-based, in-person role. We'll work together regularly. It is not remote and it is not a relocation role.
What you'll do day to day
- Build and maintain a targeted prospect pipeline using LinkedIn Sales Navigator and an outbound sequencer (list build → ICP definition → enrichment → sequence)
- Run 20–30 outbound touches per day across LinkedIn and email
- Handle all replies same-day and book discovery calls
- Run 8–12 discovery calls per week (by month 2), qualifying rigorously and capturing notes and next steps
- Write and send proposals using our pricing and proposal framework; handle negotiation and objections
- Reactivate dormant leads and activate the existing referral network
- Keep the CRM current - pipeline, forecast, deal stage, age of every opportunity
- Submit a weekly report: outbound numbers, calls run, deals closed, what's working and what isn't
- Join a daily standup and weekly pipeline review with the founder
Target ramp: 4–6 deals closed per quarter by month 3.
Minimum qualifications
- 3–5 years of B2B sales experience at a digital agency, marketing services firm, or B2B SaaS company (not in-house marketing, not e-commerce sales, not real estate)
- A personal track record of closing deals worth ₹1L+ in single transactions, end-to-end (you sourced, qualified, ran discovery, wrote the proposal, negotiated, and closed)
- Hands-on experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator and at least one outbound sequencer (Heyreach, Lemlist, La Growth Machine, Apollo, Instantly, or similar)
- Strong written and spoken English. You'll be in calls and on email with founders and CMOs
- Currently based in Pune
- Available to start within 30–45 days
Preferred qualifications
- Experience selling to D2C brands or funded startups
- Have run your own outbound campaigns end-to-end, not just worked an inherited pipeline
- Comfortable with discovery-first selling and single-number proposals, we don't do rate cards or one-call closes
- Can speak specifically to a deal you lost on price and how you handled it
